Assessment Caseworker

Applications are being accepted for a full-time case worker position for the Assessment Program in the Area Agency on Aging at GECAC under contract with Aging Well of Pennsylvania. Qualified applicants will provide direct services to consumers conducting Functional Eligibility Determinations (FED) required for Medicaid eligibility and answer inquiries regarding local resources.

Caseworker, Adult Protective Services

July 17th, 2025
Protective Services Caseworkers' duties may include: taking reports for crisis intervention; providing direct services to clients who are at risk or in an emergency; periodically reassessing care plans; providing general counseling; and making referrals. Bachelor's degree in sociology, social work/social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other behavioral sciences; and 1-2 years of aging casework experience, with crisis services or law enforcement experience preferred. Experience in the investigation and resolution of problems in a crisis.
