Retired Senior Volunteer Program

Become an AmeriCorps Seniors volunteer through the RSVP program and use your skills, knowledge, and life experiences to better your community.

Overview

RSVP is a vibrant, vital, and exciting civic opportunity. Not only is RSVP a great place to make a difference in your community, but it's also a chance to network with other like-minded peers, explore leadership possibilities, learn new skills, and have fun! RSVP volunteers choose how, where, and how often they want to serve, with commitments ranging from a few hours to 40 hours per week.

Join RSVP and you join nearly 500,000 volunteers across the country who are tackling tough issues in their communities. RSVP is America's largest volunteer network for people aged 55 and over. With RSVP, you lead with experience and choose your impact.

RSVP volunteers do not receive any monetary incentive or stipend, but the RSVP project may reimburse volunteers for certain out-of-pocket costs associated with their service activities. In addition, RSVP volunteers receive accident, personal liability, and excess automobile liability insurance as well as community recognition.
