Despite the government shutdown, GECAC is here for our community. While we do receive federal grants, our Board of Directors planned ahead and set aside financial resources to ensure we can continue providing essential services without interruption. Thanks to the power of community action and your continued support, we remain committed to serving those who need us most.

Volunteer Opportunities at GECAC

You can change people's lives. You can be a spirit of hope. You can improve our community and make Erie County a better place to live.

Whether you're delivering meals to the hungry, reading to children, protecting seniors in nursing homes, mentoring people trying to get ahead in life, or tutoring adults to improve their literacy skills, doing good connects you with others in meaningful ways.

Each day, countless GECAC volunteers use their special talents to empower families and strengthen our community.
