Despite the government shutdown, GECAC is here for our community. While we do receive federal grants, our Board of Directors planned ahead and set aside financial resources to ensure we can continue providing essential services without interruption. Thanks to the power of community action and your continued support, we remain committed to serving those who need us most.

When thousands of families are doing quite well while others languish in poverty, it seems that something is just not right. Hard-working, low-income people don't want a handout, they want an opportunity—they don't want the bondage of welfare, they want to get jobs and a home. They don't want dependency, they want to be self-sufficient.

GECAC cannot help people and change lives without you. So what can you do? What can you invest in that will make a better future for your neighbors and our community?
