Welcome to the GECAC Area Agency on Aging of Erie County. Let's face it life gets a bit more complicated as we get older; it's good to know where to turn. In less than two decades, the graying of America will be inescapable. GECAC is planning for the changes that aging brings and shaping how Erie County thinks about aging. If you are a senior or a family member and don't know where to begin to get assistance or information, GECAC has a helpline just for you. To speak directly to a caseworker that will help guide you through the steps please call:

(814) 459-4581 ext. 400

You will be asked to participate in a needs assessment. This assessment will determine what kind of support you need, whether it is in-home care or long-term care services. You will then learn about the resources available to meet your needs.
