Foster Grandparent Program

Foster Grandparent Program Volunteers have an opportunity to earn money while serving their community. The program provides eligible persons age 55 or older with a modest monetary stipend, to serve in a classroom setting mentoring and tutoring children who need a little extra help with school work or preparing for kindergarten.

Come share your time and wisdom to help guide these children on the path of a bright and successful future.

Foster Grandparent Volunteers serve at various Erie County elementary schools, middle schools, specialized schools, Head Start Centers, Migrant Head Starts and pre-elementary daycare centers.
