This training is for individuals interested in becoming a Mentor to low income individuals. As a Mentor you play a vital role in the success of the Getting Ahead participants by providing them advice, assist with goal setting and provide an added support as these individuals work their way out of poverty. We ask our Mentors to attend a one day training in the Bridges out of Poverty principles which helps educate the community about the 3 economic classes and how it all fits together. This interactive training is very enlightening in the way we view poverty in our city and community. Help be part of the solution! Make a difference in someone's life!
