Job Summary

 Qualified applicants will provide direct services to consumers; assist in the identification and resolution of problem areas; and answer inquiries regarding local resources. 

Caseworkers work with older adults and their families to conduct initial assessments of need, develop and periodically reassess care plans; provide general counseling; and make referrals for services and supports to local providers. Caseworkers may develop service plans and coordinate direct services to participants to assist in the identification and resolution of service needs.    

 Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in sociology, social work/social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other of the behavioral sciences.

  • Good communication skills both verbal and written. Good assessment skills.
  • Must possess knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point) and Microsoft Teams. The ability to operate a computer in a Windows environment is essential. Familiarity with Zoom, PDF editing software, as well as experience effectively working remotely are desired. Must have enough knowledge to successfully complete the technical skills of the position.
  • Must be able to travel and have a valid PA driver's license with full-time access to private automobile and auto insurance as required by the Agency.

 Must meet Immigration Law requirements and provide Act 33 & 34 and FBI Clearances prior to hire.

Pay: $20.05 per hour starting or higher, depending on prior experience.
