Tutor
The GECAC Upward Bound Program is looking for a dedicated, hard-working college undergraduate entering into their Junior or Senior years, a graduate student, or recent college grad looking to support and encourage a diverse group of ambitious high school students as they prepare themselves for the trials and rewards of a college education.  The best candidates are not only energetic and driven, but they also hold themselves to high academic standards throughout their collegiate experience.  

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:  Work on the campus of Edinboro University from June 17, to July 25, 2019.  Hold either a GPA of 2.8 or higher or a bachelor’s degree.  Experience tutoring in the subject areas of Math, Science, English and or STEM.  The ability to work flexible hours as needed.  Must provide at time of hire ACT 33, 34 & FBI clearances issued within the past 5 years, and 3 letters of reference signed and dated from individuals you have known for at least 5 years.  Meet Immigration Reform Act requirements & proof of education. Salary: $14.56/hour.

Part-Time Math Teacher – Upward Bound: Work on Edinboro University Campus 6/17/19 -7/25/19.  Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and/or Math with an active PA Certification.  Knowledge & experience in high school curriculum instruction Math Keystone standards.  Able to develop, implement & instruct a basic curriculum in Algebra, Algebra 2, Geometry & Calculus.  Able to evaluate program participants performance, identify & remediate weak areas.  Evaluate student needs, administer tests & prepare assignments.  Work well with and motivate students of diverse backgrounds. Salary 18.93/hour.

Cook
Cook (Union City, PA): Part-time, 16-hours week.  Standard hours Monday-Thursday 8:30am-12:30pm.  Prepare/pack meals in accordance with portion requirements.  Maintain required meal temperature, cleanliness of kitchen & equipment & observe standards of health, sanitation in testing & food handling. High School Diploma/GED or two (2) years of related experience.  Must pass pre-employment physical examination, TB & drug test; annual physical exam, bi-annual TB test & random drug & alcohol testing thereafter.  Be able to lift and carry 50-lbs.  Must obtain the Food Safety Training certificate every five years.  Salary 10.66/hour.

Case Workers and Service Coordinators 
Qualified applicants will provide direct services to consumers; assist in the identification and resolution of problem areas; and answer inquiries regarding local resources.  

Home Plus Mental Health Caseworkers.  Provide direct Mental Health and case management services to Erie Housing Authority apartment residents to assist in the identification and resolution of problem areas in maintaining independence.  Facilitates the use of community resources and services.  Establish and periodically reassess care plans making modifications as needed.  Work is performed in accordance with established procedures.  Set priorities and organizes work which is done under a supervisor who also provides regular (weekly) technical assistance.
REQUIRED: MH Caseworker requires Bachelor's degree in sociology, social work/social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other of the behavioral sciences and four (4) years experience preferred.  Qualifying experience would include coordinating assigned services as part of the clients' care or treatment plans, teaching clients living skills, aiding in therapeutic activities and providing socialization opportunities for clients.

OPTIONS Caseworkers work with older adults and their families to conduct initial assessments of need, develop and periodically reassess care plans; provide general counseling; and make referrals for services and supports to local providers. 
REQUIRED: Caseworker requires minimum of a Bachelor's degree in sociology, social work/social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other of the behavioral sciences. 1 year experience preferred.

Waiver Service Coordinators develop service plans and coordinate direct services to participants to assist in the identification and resolution of service needs. Provides assessments and service coordination for Waiver services to participants who have applied for long term care services and have expressed the desire to remain in community residential care and are eligible for such services.   
REQUIRED:  In addition to minimum of Bachelor's degree must have coursework which includes or is supplemented by 12 college level credit hours in sociology, social work/social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other of the behavioral sciences; and 1-2 years of experience preferred.

Good communication skills both verbal and written.   Ability to speak or read languages other than English, especially Spanish or Russian, is desirable. Good outreach skills and knowledge of community resources and funding source regulations needed. Proficient in the use of the computer and have computer software skills including Microsoft Office software. Must be able to travel.  Must have a valid PA driver’s license with full-time access to private automobile and auto insurance as required by the Agency. Must meet Immigration Law requirements. Must provide Act 33 & 34 and FBI Clearances issued within the past 5 years.  Budgeted range at $15.04-$20.05 per hour starting, depending on prior experience, with excellent benefit package.
