PAYROLL/FISCAL ASSISTANT

 Responsible for the preparation and distribution of all agency payrolls as designated by the Vice President/Finance.  Responsible for the processing of the agency's health insurance billing, payments to taxing authorities for employee withholdings, completion of wage verification reports as well as any other payroll related reports as assigned.  Assists in the budgeting process and prepares line item budgets for all programs.  Assist with monitoring of revenue and expenses to assure accuracy and maximum use of resources. Assist with checking of monthly financial statements and assist with reconciliation of bank statements.  Assist with annual physical inventory of fixed assets.

 This position requires an Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration with 7 years of experience in public or private accounting or a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration with 5-7 years of experience in public or private accounting.  Experience that includes payroll processing is preferred.

Act 34 clearance is a requirement prior to hiring.  This is a full time exempt position Monday - Friday with normal working hours of 8:30AM – 4:30PM.    Must meet Immigration Law Requirements. 

Salary range: $19.25 - $23.74 /hour based on related experience.
