Job Summary:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the educational needs of students.
- Facilitate learning for diverse classrooms and provide individualized instruction to support all learners.
- Assess and record students' progress and provide feedback.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Participate in faculty meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field.
- State teaching certification (preferred).
- Experience teaching Spanish to middle or high school students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
Hours: 12 Saturday sessions (2 a month from November to May) 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
Location: Mercyhurst University Center for Academic Engagement
Compensation: Pay is $25.18/hr.
