Thanksgiving is a time to gather around the table, share a meal, and give thanks for the people and things that matter most. But for families struggling to make ends meet, putting a holiday meal on the table can be an added financial burden.

At GECAC, we believe every family deserves the opportunity to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with the people they love.

Through our Give a Meal. Give Thanks. campaign, we are inviting our community to help make the holiday brighter for local families experiencing financial hardship.

Your Gift Makes a Difference

Our clients include older adults, families with children, individuals with disabilities, and households experiencing financial hardship. Many of the people we serve are making difficult choices between food and other essential expenses. A Thanksgiving meal provides more than food. It offers a family the opportunity to gather around the table, celebrate the holiday, and experience the support of their community.

How You Can Help

Give a Meal. Make a financial donation to help provide Thanksgiving meals for local families.

Give Thanks. Each meal will feed up to 10 family members. We are thankful to provide the following:

• Turkey (13-16 pounds)
• Fried Onions 
• Cream of Mushroom Soup 
• Turkey Stuffing 
• Dinner Rolls 
• Russet Potatoes (5 lb)
• Fresh Cranberries
• Baby Carrots 
• Corn (3 cans)
• Green Beans (3 cans)
• Macaroni & Cheese (3 boxes)
• Brown Gravy Mix 
• Pie Crusts
• Evaporated Milk 
• Pure Pumpkin
