Are you passionate about STEM education and eager to inspire the next generation of innovators? We're looking for a Part-Time STEM Teacher to teach a diverse group of high school students in AI and 3D printing/design.
About the Role:
As a STEM Teacher, you will guide students through hands-on projects that develop their creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills. You'll teach foundational concepts in AI and 3D design making STEM exciting and accessible for all learners.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Proctor a new Innovative AI learning system provided by AI Essentials
✅ Support students in designing and building their own 3D projects in TinkerCad
✅ Foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment
✅ Introduce students to real-world STEM applications and career pathways
What We're Looking For:
✔️ Experience teaching or mentoring students in STEM subjects
✔️ Proficiency in TinkerCad and Bambu Labs 4 color 3D Printers
✔️ Passion for hands-on learning and working with diverse student populations
✔️ Strong communication and classroom management skills
✔️ Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a STEM-related field preferred. Teaching
degree preferred but not necessary for this position.
Job Details:
Location: GECAC UPWARD BOUND program at Mercyhurst University
Schedule: Part-time, M-T-W-T 8:30am to 4pm for 5 weeks June 22nd 2026 to July 29th, 2026 Compensation: $25.18 / hour.
