Transportation
is a department of Education, Training, and Community Services.
This department provides transportation and delivery of food to
seniors, Meals-on-Wheels, Head Start centers, child day care centers,
and other serving sites on a fee for service basis. The fleet
periodically provides transportation for Job Access and Upward Bound
programs as well.
Transportation
coordinates management, leasing terms, purchasing, and maintenance for
all GECAC vehicles.

Whether they are delivering meals to
in-need seniors in the city; or transferring students to and from
HeadStart locations; GECAC's Transportation fleet provides services to
the far reaches of Erie County.
In all, the fleet's service area
covers about 800 square miles and consists of several different types
of vehicles, which are listed below: |
