Caseworkers Aging Services
Protective Services Program Up
to $13.42/hr.
Bachelors Degree in Social Work or closely
related fields and 2 years experience preferably in the area of crisis
intervention/protective services or casework requiring a high level of
client supervision. Able to provide services to clients in
emergency or potential hazardous situations and to gather and analyze
information on physical, psychological, and social factors
contributing to client's crisis situation and identify appropriate
methods for resolution of the situation. Act as "power of
attorney" on behalf of client. Able to work a flexible
schedule and attend required training.
Options/Family Caregiver Support Program
Up to $16.01/ hr.
Bachelors Degree in social work or related
field and 1 year experience . Determine and monitor eligibility
requirements for the Options / FCS Program. Able to provide
direct services to consumers to assist in the identification and
resolution of problem areas. Facilitate the use of community
resources. Develop care plan, make necessary referrals, provide
general counseling, reassess and modify care plan as
necessary.
BOTH POSITIONS require good verbal
and written communication skills, strong assessment skills and
knowledge of community resources and multiple funding source
regulations. Ability to set priorities and organize work,
document services and accurately maintain client records.
Valid PA drivers license, private
transportation, and Act 34 clearance required.

Drivers
Substitute Bus Driver - $10.15/hr.
Works as needed. PA CDL School Bus License, with minimum of
Class C P and S endorsements.
Substitute Van Driver - $8.61/hr.
Works as needed. Valid PA drivers license.
All Driver positions require High School/GED,
safe driving record, 3 or more years driving experience. Ability
to lift and carry 50 pounds, pass pre-employment drug test, physical
exam and TB test as required. Must have Act 33 and 34
clearances.

Full Time GED Instructor at the RBW
Learning Center. Complete Benefits package. Bachelors
degree in education or related field, at least one year experience in
adult education. PA Teacher Certification preferred, but not
required. Ability to perform instruction in all levels of Math,
Reading, Science and Social Studies. Strong math background
required. Able to conduct classes to prepare students to pass
GED testing. Prepare lesson plans , monitor students progress
and attendance. Knowledgeable of GED testing and
requirements. Good organizational, communication and time
management skills. Experience working with economically
disadvantaged populations. Able to work a flexible schedule with
some evening hours required. Must have Act 33 and 34 clearances
issued within the previous 12 months.

Programs **********************
Substitute
Teacher Aide $7.25/hr
High School GED with knowledge, skills and
abilities normally acquired through observing , volunteering or
substituting in a preschool classroom. Provides assistance to
the Had Start classroom Teacher/ Pre-K Counts Education Specialist in
the planning and implementation of all daily classroom
activities. Assist in parent involvement activities,
coordinating home visits, recruitment, classroom management, record
keeping, and social service and health components of the
programs. Able to communicate effectively both written and
verbally, be flexible, adaptable and team oriented and be able to work
well with individuals of diverse ethnic, social, economic and age
groups.
Must bring to interview: current Act
33 , 34 and FBI clearances, 3 personal and 3 employment
references. Must pass annual physical and bi-annual TB test and
be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Work Site: Edinboro University 2
Saturdays/month, 8:30a.m. until 3:00p.m. Academic Year begins 10/24/09
through 5/15/10. Total of 12 sessions.
SPANISH INSTRUCTOR
$18.00/hr.
Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education
and/or Spanish and Active Pa certification. Knowledge and experience
in high school curriculum instruction of Spanish and PSSA standards
required. Experience in establishing and maintaining student
records and working with tutorial/supportive staff. Able to
develop, implement and instruct curriculum. Evaluate student
needs. Administer tests and prepare assignments. Evaluate
participants academic performance, high school grades and identify
areas in need of improvement. Work well with and motivate
students of diverse backgrounds in grades 9-12. Commitment to the
value of education. Valid PA drivers license, private
transportation required.
Must have Act 33 and 34 clearances issued
within the previous 12 months. TRIO programs alumni and/or
background a definite plus.
