GECAC is the largest anti-poverty organization in Erie County, PA. With a budget of approximately $12 million and more than 110 staff, we help people and change lives on a daily basis. GECAC helps people throughout Erie County break the cycle of poverty, be self-sufficient, and achieve financial independence. There are two available positions with flexible hours, running from April 2026 to September 2026.
Job Summary:
- Perform select workforce development services for the Erie County Bright Futures Program
- Assist with information and orientation sessions for program participants
- Provide mentoring to ECBF youth employees and assistance to ECBF partner employers for the duration of the program
- Help coordinate workshops and trainings
- Assist in data collection and reporting
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Highly motivated with strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and through graphic presentations
- Knowledge of community resources
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Flexible schedule
- Must have own transportation, with a valid PA driver's license and auto insurance as required
Additional requirements: Act 33, 34 & FBI Clearances. Must meet Immigration Law requirements.
Pay $18.19 per hour.
