The GECAC Upward Bound Program is looking for a Tutor 1st shift & a 3rd shift Residential Assistant who is a dedicated, hard-working college undergraduate entering into their Junior or Senior years, a graduate student, or recent college grad looking to support and encourage a diverse group of ambitious high school students as they prepare themselves for the trials and rewards of a college education.  The best candidates are not only energetic and driven, but they also hold themselves to high academic standards throughout their collegiate experience. 

Tutor 1st shift

 Job Summary:  Will work a hybrid flexible schedule of 3 weeks Virtual tutoring and 3 weeks of on campus tutoring at Edinboro University from June 14, to July 29, 2021.  Hold either a GPA of 2.8 or higher or a bachelor's degree.  Experience tutoring in the subject areas of Math, Science, and English or STEM as well as the ability to work flexible hours as needed.  

3rd Shift Residential Assistant

Job Summary: Work on the campus of Edinboro University Monday – Thursdays, Midnight – 8:00am, July 11th to July 29th.   Must have the ability to work with a diverse group of high school age students.   Must have the ability to enforce all dormitory rules and policies to ensure safety.

Salary Range: $14.32/hour - $15.04/hour depending on experience.

 Must provide at time of Interview ACT 33, 34 & FBI clearances issued within the past 5 years, and 3 letters of reference signed and dated from individuals you have known for at least 5 years.  Meet Immigration Reform Act requirements & proof of education.
