COVID-19 Resources & Guidance
GECAC is here and ready to help. Together, we will get our
community through this hard time.
GECAC offices are closed to the public but our dedicated staff is serving clients. To help you find information about a specific program or service you may need, GECAC has created a webpage for each program we offer. All programs can be found under "Our Work" on the main navigation menu.
GECAC is not closed. We will continue to provide services to Erie County throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. Some programs are accepting appointments, many are virtual and others are serving people in need through phone and email.
How To Contact GECAC
- Contact a Program Director
Visit "Our Work" on our website's main navigation menu to identify which program you are interested in. Scroll to the bottom of that program page and send an email to the program director. If you prefer to call, the program director's direct phone number is listed. GECAC staff now can answer phone calls live from their home offices.
- Call our Senior Helpline
If you are a senior or a family member and don't know where to begin to get assistance or information, GECAC has a helpline just for you. To speak directly to a counselor that will help guide you please call:
(814) 459-4581 ext. 400
- Call GECAC's Phone Receptionist
Don't know what program you need or who to speak to? Call GECAC to speak to our phone receptionist. She will transfer you to the appropriate employee. Please note that our staff receives numerous calls and emails. If you are transferred to voicemail, please say your name and phone number clearly. A staff member will return your call as soon as possible.
